At various stages in life, many people experience issues in their emotional or sexual lives which can have a detrimental affect on both their personal wellbeing and that of their partner or family. Some might struggle to sustain good interpersonal relationships; others may be encountering problems within their relationship. It is also common to experience difficulties in the wake of a divorce or bereavement, while certain other people find that childhood abuse has cast a shadow over their adult lives.
Whatever you may be going through, Let’s Talk provides a neutral space in which you can address, discuss and resolve all such issues, with assistance and support from three qualified counsellors. We concentrate on two distinct areas – relationship and couples counselling, and sex therapy – but often, issues which manifest in one area are connected to the other, and this is something we will also explore.
For many different reasons, people can find themselves involuntarily single for long periods or be habitually drawn to relationships which are unhealthy or unsatisfying. We can help you address the underlying reasons, enabling you to open up to the possibility of loving, fulfilling relationships.
We also help couples, individually or together, who are experiencing problems
within their existing relationship. These might stem from any number of sources
- difficulties with communication, financial trouble, infidelity or second
families. Bereavement, separation and divorce, and the impact of divorce on
children are other areas with which we regularly work.

Despite modern society’s apparent openness about sex, many people find themselves without a way to address their sexual problems frankly and in confidence.
At Let’s Talk, we help you to resolve your anxieties or fears and work
towards a new self-awareness, in order for you to make positive choices and gain
greater enjoyment from your sexual self. We commonly look at such issues as
impotence, loss of desire, physical disability, disparity in sexual expectations
and the impact of abuse.
